  • Soybean aphid is now found statewide A significant portion of Minnesota may experience heavy aphid infestations
  • Get a hand lens (10X-20X) and learn as much as you can before next summer
  • Scout soybean in July during mid-vegetative stages through flowering
  • Look for soybean aphids under upper leaves or their signs (ladybird beetles, ants, cast skins, honeydew / mold)
  • Treat if aphids abundant on over 80% of the plants during seed set
  • Leave check strips to learn from
    your decision!
