2001 White Mold Variety Trial Results
In 2001 the White Mold Variety Trials were planted at eight locations; Shelly, Fosston, Staples, Morris, Rosemount, Farmington, Lamberton, and Waseca. All varieties entered were planted in at least two locations in the appropriate region; Northern, Central, or Southern. Plots at four locations; Morris, Staples, Rosemount, and Lamberton, were either irrigated or misted. Because of high temperatures in July and August there was no white mold at seven locations. The only location with measureable white mold was Waseca. Unfortunately, the results from Waseca are so dependent on plot location that they are unuseable.
